Most fur, whether from animals confined in cages or caught in painful traps, is sold through specialist fur auction houses. These auction houses don`t care about the country of origin of the furs they offer for sale. They don`t care that animals are forced to suffer needlessly for their profit.

The four auction houses participating in the Origin Assured™ programme are doing business that hurt and kill fur animals globally. They don`t mind if they lie and mislead the public to make more money. They don`t mind building profits from systematic animal abuse. They will just call it Origin Assured™ and hope that people buy into their lies.

These auction houses are using the Origin Assured™ mark in their sales catalogues to avoid unwanted attention about the fact that furs come from countries where established national or local regulations or standards governing fur production are broken regularily as animals suffer.
